Judy and Tom are a lovely couple! We loved their gentle manner and romantic ideas from the very first contact we had with them, this is why we decided to help them planning their wedding at the Hotel Caruso! We knew it would have been a beautiful wedding of a special couple!
They contacted us in July, when we were already very concentrated on the wedding season, but they were so determined on what they wanted for their big day that the planning was very smooth and we defined all the minor details in less than one month!
All the finest details were thought of to reflect the romantic boho idea they had in mind for their wedding day! Calligraphy and colors of the stationery were stunningly appropriate to the theme and mood of the day!
The good taste of the couple was expressed at its best in every detail! Talking about decors we accurately selected the florist we were sure could turn their wishes into reality and the final effect was magnificent!
The choice was directed to delicate and beautiful flowers: David Austin roses and dahlias for the Bridal bouquet combined with dusty miller and succulents for a pastel palette in soft tones of white, blush and green. The bridesmaids bouquets had same style of the bride’s. English roses were also used for boutonnieres and the mothers’ corsages.
The symbolic wedding ceremony was organized outdoors in the Olive Tree Garden of the hotel, accompanied by the melodious sound of an harp and a violin. The ceremony area was embellished with a huge arch totally covered with flowers and greenery, and white chiavarina chairs for the guests, with small posies placed on the ground along the aisle.
While the guests were enjoying some refreshments at the wedding cocktail in the Olive Tree Garden, the bridal couple had a photo session with photographer Gianni di Natale. They visited an elegant 11th century church in Ravello and drove a vintage car for some stylish photos.
The wedding reception took place in the Wagner Garden of Hotel Caruso, on a stunning terrace with seaview. The two rustic imperial tables were decorated with eucalyptus runners and flowers in rustic wooden vases: dahlias, roses and hydrangeas in white and blush tones, decorated with small tealights for a natural and messy effect.
After dinner the bridal couple and the guests moved to the Pool Area of the Hotel for the cutting of the cake. The gorgeous four tier wedding cake was decorated with roses in white and blush tones, and candles for a romantic touch.
The night ended with some fun dancing by the pool!

I’ve loved looking through your website and seeing the beautiful weddings you’ve worked on.
My partner and I are talking about possible locations for getting married next year. We haven’t set on a date, but if we chose Italy, it would most likely be just after the summer season, and in Ravello – my dream destination since I first visited!
I lived in Florence for a year and a half a few years ago, and it would be very special to get married in Italy as it holds such a place in my heart.
I also know how complicated things can be to get done there! But I’m sure you have the process streamlined.
Could you send me some information to give me a loose idea on expected costs, both for the wedding itself and your fees, and the amount of time required to book? And any other information we should be aware of to make this decision?
I’m thinking a ceremony outdoors with the view in front of us, and either a reception in a garden under the trees, or something like the venue you show for Hilary and Sean’s wedding post.
We are probably looking at anything from 20-40 guests (my brother and sister-in-law alone have seven children, so hard to guesstimate numbers at such an early time!) We do want something smaller though.
And we will be coming from Australia – which will naturally limit those who join us if we decide on Italy!
