Katrina and Ricky – Mediterranean summer wedding at Villa Eva, Ravello

Every year we plan a number of weddings on the Amalfi Coast but some of them remain in our heart and mind for ages because of their beauty but most of all because of the relationship we establish with some special brides!

Sweet Katrina contacted us in October 2012 to plan her civil wedding with Ricky in Italy. She told us they had been together for 9 years, almost a lifetime considering their age of 26 and 28! I really believe in long lasting relationships and this is the proof they still exist!

She was very sweet indeed but at same time she was really focused. She and Ricky had clear in mind from the beginning what they wanted for their wedding: a civil wedding in July followed by an outdoor reception with a very vintage look with modern feel. The colours they had in mind were pinks creams and lime greens. “Pretty, relaxed, music and  fun” were their keywords for the wedding and of course this is what they got: an outdoor civil ceremony in the beautiful gardens of Principessa di Piemonte in Ravello – Amalfi Coast – followed by a toast on Ravello main square and a relaxing alfresco dinner for them and their 40 guests in an enchanting Villa with a wonderful view accompanied by the elegant sound of piano!

This is a brief summary of their lovely wedding and some stunning pictures of their event:

The pianist entertained the wedding party with this sophisticated repertory:

Just the way you are
The way we were
Your song
Wonderful tonight
I say a little prayer
Walk on by
The look of love
You are the sunshine of my life
Ribbon in the sky
Evergreen
Natural Woman
Piano man
Fragile
Way over yonder
Time after time
You’ve got a friend
That’s what friends are for
Overjoyed
People
This Masquerade
Yesterday
Imagine
Let it be
Here comes the sun
Have I told you lately
What a wonderful world

After the wedding Katrina wrote me these lovely words:

Wow what can I say!!! We had the most amazing day ever!!! Our friends and family cannot stop talking about it and how amazing it was, they also fell in love with Ravello and can’t wait to go back :)

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything!! If it wasn’t for you it wouldn’t have been possible to happen! The manager at the Villa was amazing too and words cannot describe! It took our breath away walking into the villa it was better than expected… the whole day exceeded our expectations so thank you!!!

Meeting Anna again was great: she is just brilliant, she has an air of kindness. She just made everything run smoothly and made sure everything was perfect, so thank you Anna! It was lovely to meet you and share the best of Ravello which you get to see always!

The photographer was just fantastic! He really made me feel at ease the first moment he walked into the hotel! He took some amazing photos which wowed us and he also had another photographer with him who was great!

Thanks again,

With love xx

Thank you Katrina! It was a pleasure working for you!

Katrina and Ricky – Mediterranean summer wedding at Villa Eva, Ravello

this wedding is exactly what I want! Even down to the number of guests and the time of year! I have 40 guests and would like to get married end of July beginning of August 2016. Civil ceremony in Ravello town hall gardens, stop off in town square for drinks and reception at villa Eva. Could you tell me how much I am looking at paying for all of this? Thank you :) x
