This gorgeous country Borgo is located halfway between Florence and Siena. One hour from Florence airport, one hour and 30 minutes from Pisa international airport.

Venue Description

Il Borgo di Vignamaggio is now open after over 5 years of accurate restoration work. Surrounded by amazing hilltop towns, wine estates, and olive trees, this incredible venue is a historical hamlet with a large square, an orchard, a magnificent chapel with its original frescoes, a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the amazing Tuscan hilltop. The hamlet has a theatre, a greenhouse, and a ballroom suitable for large wedding celebrations.

Wedding ceremony and reception

You can celebrate your symbolic ceremonies in the Pergola terrace or in the gardens, have your welcome cocktails in the orchard or in the court, sit-down dinner in the square, and dancing following outdoors or indoors. Fireworks are allowed.

Events start at 5 pm and end at 1 am of the following day (max 8 hours).

In case of bad weather conditions, the back-ups are Salone dei Banchetti for up to 150 guests, La Serra for up to 150 guests, Dancing Hall «Discoteca» and other smaller rooms.

You can dance indoors till 1:00 am.

Accommodation

At Il Borgo di Vignamaggio, there are several accommodations: the Main Villa has 7 double rooms, Casa degli Sposi has 3 double rooms, Casa Sant’ Andrea has 3 other double rooms for a total of 26 beds.

A minimum stay of 3 nights is requested to host an event at the Borgo.

Extra accommodations are available at less than 10 minutes' drive in farmhouses run by the same management:

• Il Prato (9 double rooms)
• Il Casolese (9 double rooms)
• L’Orto (9 double rooms)

They also run the Hotel La Pensione, a beautiful B&B with 19 rooms (17 double and 2 triple), located in the heart of the small village of Panzano in Chianti, at 20 minutes’ drive.
