Villa il Palagio for Weddings in Tuscany
Venue description AND LOCATION
Il Palagio is a stunning villa situated near the town of Figline Valdarno. Dating back to the 16th century and now owned by renowned singer Sting and his wife ,Trudie, the estate is a serene retreat nestled among the gentle, rolling hills just outside Florence. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and cypress and oak forests, the property features a main villa, three charming cottages, a large swimming pool, a tennis court, a lake, nearby stables, and two independent villas located ten minutes away by car.
WEDDING CEREMONIES:
The villa terrace and the grand oak tree are perfect areas for an outdoor ceremony. If an indoor ceremony is preferred, it’s possible to have the rite at the chapel-inspired building.WEDDING RECEPTIONS:
Cocktails can take place under the grand oak tree, in the garden, or around the pool, while wedding banquets can be organized by the pool, in the courtyard, or by the side of the villa.Music indoors is allowed until 2:00AM.
In case of events with more than 32 guests it is necessary to rely on an external caterer for the food and beverage functions.
Accommodation
Villa Il Palagio features nine double rooms, accommodating up to 18 guests at standard occupancy. The Red House and Casa Colonica cottages each offer three double rooms, while the Chalet includes one double room. Altogether, the main villa and the three guesthouses can host up to 32 guests at standard occupancy.
