A Five-Day Amalfi Coast Wedding Celebration: Love, Laughter, and La Dolce Vita
The festivities began with a charming Market Night held in the enchanting Wagner Gardens of Hotel Caruso. Guests wandered among beautifully styled market stalls offering a variety of Italian delicacies from cured meats and fresh bread to artisanal cheeses, handmade pasta, fruit, and traditional desserts. Fine Italian wines and cocktails completed the experience, evoking the atmosphere of a lively Italian marketplace.
A special corner offered custom tote bags, which guests could fill with local treats like cantucci, pasta, herbs, taralli, flavored olive oil, limoncello, and chocolate, creating a personalized souvenir of this authentic Italian wedding celebration. Once everyone had gathered, Sinyan’s parents gave a warm welcome to all guests, officially opening the week of festivities. The evening continued in a relaxed and joyful mood, with an acoustic roaming band playing cheerful Italian classics under the stars.
That night, the celebration moved to Torre Normanna in Maiori for the La Dolce Vita Night, a black and white soirée inspired by Fellini’s masterpiece. The event began with a seaside cocktail reception accompanied by a live Italian band performing timeless songs. Guests then moved to the panoramic terrace, where the couple welcomed everyone with a heartfelt speech before dinner was served.
After a delicious two course dinner and sorbet, guests were invited back to the seaside terraces for dessert, where La Dolce Vita was projected on the tower’s façade, a magical surprise followed by a spectacular fireworks display and a lively DJ party by the sea.
In the evening, after returning to Ravello, guests gathered in the square just outside Hotel Caruso for the Amalfi Night Dinner beneath the pool pergola. The local Scialapopolo band led them up the steps to the dinner area, a vision in yellow and white, with elegant custom tablecloths, hanging lemons, and floral arrangements that celebrated the colors of the Amalfi Coast. After dinner, the celebration continued at the hotel bar, a perfect end to another unforgettable day on the coast.
The day of the wedding, the bride and her closest friends began the morning in the elegant bridal suite, filled with joy, laughter, and anticipation. At 4:30 p.m., guests gathered in the hotel’s reception before being escorted to the Wagner Gardens for the ceremony. A string quartet played contemporary love songs as everyone awaited the bride’s entrance. The floral design featured romantic shades of pink, lilac, blue, and soft greenery, perfectly complementing the garden’s natural beauty. The ceremony was emotional and intimate, a celebration of love set against the panoramic backdrop of the Amalfi Coast.
After the vows, guests enjoyed cocktails at the Infinity Pool, accompanied by a jazz trio. Dinner followed back in the Wagner Gardens, completely transformed for the occasion. Tables were dressed with candles, floral arrangements in soft tones, and elegant custom chargers and napkins, with the couple seated at a grand imperial table under the olive trees.
Heartfelt speeches accompanied the evening, and just before dessert, two tenors surprised guests with a powerful live performance. During the cake cutting, the tenors performed Con Te Partirò, framed by a sparkling fountains, creating an unforgettable moment.
The party then moved indoors to the Wagner Room, transformed into a stylish dance venue with a live band, DJ, dessert buffet, and cocktail bar. Guests danced late into the night, pausing only for a delicious midnight snack featuring pasta show cooking, mini burgers, and chicken nuggets with fries, the perfect mix of elegance and fun.
The final evening took guests to Trattoria da Lorenzo in Scala for an authentic Italian farewell dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful, reflecting the true spirit of the Amalfi Coast. The garden aperitif featured a folk trio, assorted pizzas, cheeses with live mozzarella making, and classic cocktails. Dinner was served inside the restaurant: shared starters, two types of gnocchi, and homemade meatballs in tomato sauce. Dessert was enjoyed once again in the garden, with tiramisù, sorbet, and a charming gelato cart closing the evening on a sweet note. It was a beautiful finale to five unforgettable days on the Amalfi Coast, where love and friendship came together in true Italian style.
