Positano Weddings at Villa Oliviero

Venue description

Villa Oliviero was built on four floors on the rocky ridge above the sea in a quiet residential area of Positano and boasts impressive views over Positano, its beach and the coastline with Li Galli island. The Villa was a favourite retreat of painters and poets coming to Positano from all over the world. From the entrance guests access the bougainvillea-decked terrace leading to another stunning arched terrace and to the lower terraces through an external staircase. The Villa features an outdoor Jacuzzi and a panoramic swimming pool. The outdoor terraces provide an ideal setting for events with approx 50/60 guests.

The Villa can be reached by walking approx. 200 meters along the pedestrian pathway located off the main coastal road that passes through Positano. There are 90 steps up to the pedestrian pathway and other 60 to the front gate of the Villa.

Wedding ceremony and reception

The most emotional spot for a ceremony is the middle terrace, with the Bride coming down the stairs or from her room to walk down the aisle. From this spot the town of Positano is in the background and photos are really impressive. Cocktails can follow on the same terrace or pool terrace while to surprise your guests the group moves to the upper terrace where a long imperial table or round tables beautifully decorated can be organized while the ceremony and cocktail hour take place. Dancing is allowed, strictly till midnight, on the ceremony terrace and pool terrace.

Accommodation

Villa Oliviero provides accommodations for up to 12 guests in 6 stylish decorated Suites, each with all modern amenities. Weekly rentals only in high season, less nights are allowed in low season.
