Venice, April 26th 2011. 


Shortly after getting engaged, David and I decided to elope to Italy to get married. In the thrill and excitement about our private wedding, we weren't thinking too much about all the details that went along with getting married in a foreign country.


We had a month to organise our wedding and I can honestly say, I wasn't quite sure what to do! From the moment I contacted Laura via email, I felt immediately reassured that everything would work out perfectly. Laura helped with every detail of our wedding; completing documentation, booking the ceremony, organising translators, booking photographers, and this allowed David and I to focus on the excitement of our wedding in Venice.

 

Our wedding day was magical. Our ceremony was at the Venice 'town hall' which was a beautiful 17th century palace facing the Grand Canal and the Rialto. Laura then organised a gondola ride and we were toasted by every tourist in Venice! We ended the day with a romantic dinner for 2 at one of Venice's finest restaurants.
