Dear Maddalena,
I hope you are well. I am SO SO sorry it has taken me so long to write this email. It has been hectic back here. We had a party two weeks ago for all our family and friends and it was chaotic. It was like organising a whole second wedding. Now that it's over, I can start sending our thank you message out, but I must start with you...
Maddalena, from the first email exchange I knew that I had a wedding planner who would ensure that every aspect of our wedding was perfect. You proved to be more than I could ever wish for. You are the upmost professional, a devoted wedding planner and beautiful person inside and out. It was such a honour to have you as part of our wedding.
Being such a perfectionist, I was worried about inviting someone to plan one of the most important day of our lives. However, Maddalena knew exactly how I envisioned my wedding and made sure that everything was exact to plan on the day. Even in my dreams I couldn't have imagine how beautiful our wedding was actually going to be.
Myself and my husband, Paul wanted a very intimate wedding with just 25 of our close friends and family members. I wanted to use my own table decorations and custom made favours for the ceremony and reception and this was no problem for you, Maddalena. On a daily basis I would email pictures of new floral decoration, favours and wedding stationery. Maddalena was never too busy to respond to my numerous emails. She would use her expertise to ensure that my ideas would fit in perfectly with the elegant setting of the wedding reception venue. Maddalena always gave exquisite advice, she knew exactly what would work. She is meticulous in her planning.
At our first meeting, it was like we had been friends for years. Maddalena greeted both myself and Paul with a warm hug and kiss, immediately putting us at ease. During our meeting I gave Maddalena the numerous items I had shipped over to decorate our venue. Unfortunately, one of the vases I had bought over had been damaged. On seeing my disappointment, Maddalena was fast to act and suggested how to arrange the flowers without the need for the vase. These suggestions were perfect, but in the end another vase was shipped over and without any hesitation Maddalena sorted out for the wedding venue to collect the vase from the hotel we were staying at. This further reinforced that our wedding day was going to be hassle free, as it was in the capable hands of Maddalena.
When I arrived at the ceremony Maddalena was there to greet me and reassure me everything was in place. Even when our flower girl refused to walk down the isle Maddalena was there to save the day. Within moments our flower girl was hand in hand with one our bridesmaids ready to walk down the isle.
After our wedding ceremony at the Cloisters of San Francesco, Maddalena organised drinks and canapés in a secluded part of Villa Communale. This was fantastic. I felt like a celebrity, onlookers trying to catch a glimpse of bride and groom and take photographs. Our guests were made to feel special and continued to throughout the whole day. Our guests were wowed again with more champagne and canapés whilst taking in the breathtaking views of the island of Capri at our stunning wedding reception venue before sitting down for the wedding breakfast in another beautifully decorated setting.
I can not thank you enough for making our wedding such an amazing day. We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.
Anyone thinking of getting married in Italy, should definitely choose Exclusive Italy. If they are lucky they will get the chance to meet you, Maddalena and have their dreams turned into reality. You truly are amazing. Wish we could do it all over again.
