Ravello, September 21st 2019.
After Christian proposed to me, with all the excitement and the overwhelming happiness of the idea of our wedding, we didn’t come around to begin our planning until right at 6 months before our chosen celebration date. We’ve been told many times that it would be very hard to organize an event in such a limited time span, but we decided to try to pull it together since we favored a certain season for our special day.
We also were pretty determined on the location - Italy has a very special place in our hearts: from our first romantic getaways in many corners of this beautiful country to his proposal, which took place in Tuscany.
We had no idea where to even start and finally scheduled a consultation with a wedding planner from our home town in Colorado. But something didn’t feel right about working with a planner that didn’t have any ties to the place that we had our minds set on.
I started looking for wedding planning companies in Italy, and out of the many replies, it was Laura Frappa that captured my attention with her professionalism and personable approach. After the initial phone call, she immediately made me feel at ease and assured me that planning our dream wedding was quite plausible, even in those short time frames. Everything from there went incredibly smooth.
We were assigned the most amazing and talented wedding experts - Isabella Cengarle and Giulia Puppini, who made every step of the planning super fun and easy. Isabella did most of the back-and-forth communication with us, paying very close attention to reflect our taste and desires in every detail, while at the same time, applying her local knowledge and an exceptional sense of style.
We were surprised how everything fell into place effortlessly and was accomplished in a timely manner. Isabella was on top of it at all times and never gave us a reason to worry about anything.
When we arrived at our wedding destination -
Villa Cimbrone, Isabella and Giulia greeted us and we felt their support and engagement throughout every part of our three-day celebration.
Each aspect of the event was impeccable that it has completely exceeded our expectations.
The decor, the photographers, the musicians - everything was top notch and couldn’t have been more perfect. We felt that our big day turned out in the best way possible and we can’t thank Exclusive Italy Weddings enough for making it such a fairytale.
