Civil weddings at Torri del Benaco

Torri del Benaco is located on Lake Garda, towards Verona's lake bank. The entire Lake is pervaded by a luxuriant typical Mediterranean vegetation, with palms, oleanders, orange and lemon trees, vine grapes and olive trees.
The Medieval castle, which predominates the antique village of Torri del Benaco, surrounded by city walls and medieval towers, was constructed in 1400. The owner, Antonio della Scala, wanted its construction to defend his properties from the invasion of the Visconti Family.

Civil weddings at Torri del Benaco
In Torri del Benaco civil weddings are celebrated in the Medieval castle which goes back to the "Scaligeri Age".
The Castle, situated near the small village harbour, suffered under many battles that invaded the region in the different historical ages, until it was finally restored in 1980. The castle has now been brought to new life together with its lemon tree garden.

Civil ceremonies can be held in the enchanting lemon tree garden, on top of the tower or in case of bad weather in the fishing museum called "Barchessa". You will feel a suggestive atmosphere that pervades the entire castle. Walking trough the towers will give you the impression of all the history that has gone by in this ancient fortress. Only civil weddings are allowed, one per day.
It is possible to have music performed during the ceremony. We suggest: Violinist, guitarist.

You can marry all year round but we strongly recommend the period from April to October to be able to use the tower or the lemon tree Garden.
