Castle weddings in Tuscany at Castello di Meleto

Venue Location

This incredible Castle rises in the heart of the Chianti territory, not far from the boundary line between the ancient Republics of Siena and Florence, about 1 km far from Gaiole in Chianti.

Venue Description

Like a fairytale, this Castle announces itself in the enchanting Chianti landscape at the end of a pleasant driveway lined with cypresses and junipers, surrounded by endless vineyards. A magnificent testimony of history that invites guests to plunge into the peacefulness of the countryside to savour its tastes and perfumes. The wine, the scent of cellars and oil-mills, the wood of the furniture, grain, the thousand essences.

At the end of the 1km long street there is a beautiful restaurant, recently renewed and opened to offer a less formal atmosphere for rehearsal dinners for instance or every-day meals. This restaurant is a short stroll from the property and would make a perfect entertaining venue for friends and family.

Wedding Ceremonies

Protestant, Jewish and Symbolic ceremonies can be celebrated on the grounds of the Castle, in the garden or in the private Chapel.

Wedding Receptions

Cocktails can be served in the beautiful Gardens followed by dinner in the Piano Nobile of the Castle and after dinner in the Stables.

Wedding banquets are arranged with excellent catering service. Inside the castle there are several halls: the most elegant hall can hold 70 guests, the Stables can hold 160 and  then there is a smaller hall suitable to 40 guests. The Garden and Courtyard can host larger groups but in this case it is recommended to rent a marquee. Dance music is allowed in the noble floor, in the Stables or in the garden provided that most of the adjacent rooms and apartments are booked.

Accommodations

Inside the property there is accommodation in self-catered apartments (11 apartments), 7 double rooms inside the Castle and 4 rooms in the country houses, for a total up to 60 people adding extra beds.
