Weddings in a Chianti Castle

Large estate, located in the Tuscan countryside, just 30 minutes drive from Florence, surrounded by wide vineyards extensions and olive trees all over the green hills. The castle is located in a wonderful garden, the perfect setting for cocktails, aperitifs, symbolic ceremonies and photo sessions.

This castle, of XIII century and restored in 800', is an ideal location for a romantic wedding in a soft enchanting atmosphere. The internal court adorned with soft lights and the  tables decorated with flowers and chandeliers, will render your wedding reception a really elegant and stylish event, inspiring to all your guests, breathtaking emotions.

The castle is suitable for having music played till late, as there are no neighbours around the area. There is no restaurant in these premises, but the castle owner suggests a good quality catering service. If, for your wedding reception you would like something special, it is possible to have a dinner organized in Renaissance style, with waiters dressed with original costumes, serving dishes of the Renaissance cuisine, with music played by minstrels and magicians and jugglers delighting the guest's evening with their show.

If you are thinking of having a civil ceremony, the nearest Marriage Hall is in Florence, at Palazzo Vecchio, just 25 minutes away from the venue. For catholic ceremonies there are many churches in the area, approx. 7/9 km away from the castle. You will just have to choose the one you prefer. Symbolic and Protestant ceremonies instead can be celebrated in the grounds of the castle or in its small chapel, very quaint.

Just think of the green Tuscan hills, olive trees in the background, a medieval internal court where to have your wedding reception, a wonderful garden for the aperitifs and secluded area with no neighbours around, for your dancing party after dinner!!
