Hi Sara
Yes we are back thank you, arrived home Tuesday evening and straight back to work unfortunately.
John and I would like to thank you for all your hard work. It is extremely difficult to try and plan a wedding in a foreign country, not having seen the location or the venue, even down to choosing the musicians but we could not have dreamed of having such a magical day.
When we awoke in the morning it was raining and the skies were grey and it remained so for most of the day but come 4 o'clock the sun came out and it shone for the rest of the day. Quite unbelievable.
Certaldo truly is a beautiful village and was the perfect location for our wedding. The staff at the restaurant, especially Martina were excellent and so helpful. The setting and the tables looked fabulous. The table decorations were absolutely gorgeous and my flowers, well what can I say but fabulous. You got it absolutely right with the colours, thank you.
The ceremony was more than we could have wished for and we both enjoyed every single minute of it. It far exceeded our expectations and the Registrar who married us was so lovely and friendly. Having the violin playing simply added that extra special touch to the ceremony. Please pass on our sincere thanks as before we had chance to thank her ourselves she had left.
The photographers were absolutely superb and made us so relaxed. We can't wait to see both the photographs and the video so we can relive it once more.
The trio, well what can we say but fantastic the music they played was so perfect for the occasion and everyone has commented on what an excellent choice they were so again thank you for finding them. We were only sorry they got so cold!
The food was the best we could have hoped for and all of our guests commented on how good it was; apparently the beef was the best they had ever tasted! The service excellent.
Please pass on our sincere thanks to all of these people who helped in making our day so special.
Ameris was superb and truly is a lovely lady. She was so professional and yet so friendly and very funny. She really did calm me down in my stressful moments and again please pass on our heartfelt thanks to her.
Finally Sara we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your hard work over the last few months. You really did do a wonderful job in putting this all together for us. I know I must have driven you mad at times with all my emails, changing my mind on musicians and all sorts but I really could not have wished for such a magical and special day. We can't say enough how fantastic it all looked. You really did make it all happen for us, thank you.
On the day, I don't think we stopped smiling and laughing from the moment we stepped out of our room at the Osteria del Vicario until we closed our eyes at bedtime.
