Venue Location
The enchanting Villa del Balbianello was built in XVIII century, is located on the edge of a promontory, overlooking Lake Como and facing the town of Bellagio.

Venue description
The venue is well known for its picturesque gardens, where the main colour theme is green, white and red, the colours of the Italian flag. It is an ideal setting for a fabulous wedding ceremony. You will be able to choose which type of ceremony you prefer, the civil rite, the protestant or symbolic ceremony and also have your wedding reception in the villa. How lovely to be able to have the entire wedding celebrated in the same place and in a fantastic setting.

Civil ceremonies can be held at Villa del Balbianello, you can choose to have your wedding in the gardens or under the Loggia. The same for a protestant or symbolic ceremony. The Villa's management provides the table for the celebrant, chairs for the spouses and a couple for the guests. Extra fee for additional chairs.
Catholic rites can be held in the near by churches, unfortunately the church located in the grounds of the villa hasn't got the authorisation to be used for catholic celebrations.

Wedding banquets
The areas available for the ceremony are the gardens and the Loggia. In case of bad weather the villa has also two internal halls that can be used. The halls can hold maximum 30 guests each. The Loggia has the best panoramic view and holds a small number of guests – while the gardens are suitable for large groups. As the Villa is open to the public, there are different rental fees depending if the wedding is celebrated during the opening or closing times. If the villa has been booked on a weekday, during the opening times, the ceremony will be celebrated in the private part of the garden. The Loggia can be used only outside the opening times and days.

Cuisine
The villa hasn't got a restaurant but they hire a local Catering service of very good quality that does Italian cuisine with a mixture of international recipes.

Music entertainment
Music with dancing is allowed. You can hire a DJ or a band.

Hotel
No accommodations available at the villa.

When?
Weddings in the villa can be held from March to November. We suggest the spring and summer period to benefit of the garden's availability.
