The venue is a restored medieval hamlet located in the very heart of Tuscany: it is a 1-hour drive from Florence and Siena 40 minutes from Arezzo. The most beautiful cities and towns of Tuscany are all very easy to reach from here, plus you will be surrounded by the charm of the Tuscan countryside.

Venue description

Perched atop a hill immersed in the Tuscan countryside, this medieval hamlet has been carefully restored and is now a place full of charm that will take you back in time, like in a dream. The elegantly renovated apartments and exclusive villas can provide accommodation for small or large groups who want to celebrate a wedding full of charm and refinement.

Wedding Ceremony

Catholic or protestant ceremonies are possible in the ancient Church of the medieval village (for up to 100 guests). Symbolic ceremonies in the Renaissance garden near the manor house.

Wedding banquets

Receptions for up to 250 guests can be held indoors in the old Orangery or outdoors in the beautiful gardens.

Cuisine

The local staff offers catering based on the best recipes of the Tuscan cuisine, revisited in a perfect balance between taste, substance, and creativity. 

You can choose from a variety of menus: creative, traditional, international. Catering tailored to the needs of the couple and their guests.

Accommodations

Global capacity: 160 people.

12 elegant deluxe suites and 9 beautifully renovated classic suites are located in the medieval village.

Three luxurious villas in the village and on the nearby hills are available for exclusive rental:

• Villa Il Borro (10 double rooms, one is the royal suite, indoor heated pool),
• Villa Casetta (3 double rooms),
• Villa Chiocci Alto (isolated on a hilltop, 5 double rooms).

Five farmhouses located outside the village:

• Poggio Piano (8 double rooms);
• Capanna (1 double + 1 single + 2 nautical style beds);
• Casa al Piano (8 double rooms);
• Mulino Uno (2 double rooms);
• Mulino Due (3 double rooms).

Activities

Wine tour in prestigious wineries in the area of Montalcino, Bolgheri or Chianti, chocolate tour, truffle tour, excursion on a horse-drawn carriage, medieval dinner.

Ferrari rental, Vespa tour, bike tour, 500 vintage tour, hot air balloon tour.

Full day excursions to Siena+San Gimignano+Chianti, Montepulciano+Pienza, Volterra+Monteriggioni, Pisa+Lucca, Assisi+Cortona, Cinque Terre, Rome.

When?

Open all year round. The minimum stay for exclusive rental of the whole venue is 3 nights.
