Hill top Castle near Florence

Castle Location
Between Florence and Fiesole, a few minutes from the centre of Florence, on top of a hill, in a secluded position because immersed in green woods with magnificent views over the city.

Venue description
The first time this Castle was mentioned is in year 1031 in a contract registered in Florence archives. Its decline started in the 17th century but thanks to a long and complete restoration in neo-Gothic style started in the 19th century. The result can be currently admired and enjoyed only during private events not being the castle open to the public. The gardens located on a panoramic terrace welcome guests arriving through the entrance and are a perfect setting for a ceremony or welcome cocktail. Dinners are organized on the Gardens too but the inside courtyard and the arched Loggia area with the right lights at night creates a unique and romantic atmosphere for a sit down elegant dinner. Guests are allowed to stroll around the halls of the castle that boasts original drawing rooms with original furniture, frescoed halls and antique arms hall.

Wedding ceremony
Catholic ceremonies can be celebrated at the lovely parish church a few minutes out of the castle built in Renaissance style. Quite intimate church that hosts also large groups. Wedding banquets
The Castle offers the right setting for an unforgettable Tuscan Wedding, where people can experience a medieval dream. The courtyard has room for 100/120 guests and the annexed Arched Loggia can be a good back up in case of bad weather conditions since it is separated by glass windows. Management is high standard and experienced plus their attention to every detail is a guarantee of success.
Great music can be played in every area of the castle, live music and dancing allowed. We recommend torches all around the castle for a really amazing atmosphere at night.
Large veranda available for larger groups in the backyard of the castle.

Italian/Tuscan/International cuisine. Excellent service. Flexibility on menu courses, great selection of wines. On catering service basis.

Music entertainment
No restrictions in terms of musical entertainment: classical music, live music, jazz music or DJ are all allowed.
