Four Seasons Hotel in Florence: a romantic wedding

Four Seasons Hotel in Florence: a romantic wedding

September weddings have a special place in my heart: the month of September is wonderful for destination weddings in Italy because the heat of summer has cooled down a bit, but the air is still warm and there is plenty of sun and light, ideal for couples wanting an outdoor ceremony.

Irina and Rost chose to get married in one of the most romantic settings in Italy: the city of Florence with its masterpieces of art and architecture. They wanted a symbolic ceremony: this is the type of ceremony that offers the most possibilities in terms of setting and personalization, as there is no restriction for the setting and the ceremony itself: the officiant can be a pastor or a family member, the ritual can be traditional or include favorite songs, poems and personal vows.

They chose one of the most spectacular locations in Florence: the gardens of Four Seasons Hotel with their centuries-old trees and a spectacular vista on the dome of Florence Cathedral. Four Seasons Hotel is one of the best hotels in the world, with special attention for wedding parties: they are great and reliable professionals and we have been cooperating with them for many years.

The flower decoration with the elegant large vases was perfectly in style with the setting: they were filled with white and pale blue hydrangeas, pale pink roses and ivy branches.

Before the traditional exchange of rings, the officiant performed the ribbon ceremony by tying the hands of the spouses with colored ribbons, the knots symbolizing the union of the couple.

The cocktail was held in the exquisitely elegant Conventino Hall with a spectacular blue starry sky effect on the ceiling, and the couple’s logo projected on the wall. The tables were elegantly decorated with flowers in pastel colors and tall glass candleholders. Don’t miss the small details like the white lanterns in the garden or the delicate cut out place cards.

The cocktail was followed by dinner with a simple menu of traditional Italian dishes made with local products.

Starter

Eggplant with half-dried tomatoes, burrata of Andria cheese and glazed shallots

First course

Cautarogni lucani (a local variety of homemade pasta) with seafood ragout

Main course

Roasted beef fillet with sauteed asparagus and creamed potato

Sorbet

Lemon sorbet

Wedding Cake

Vanilla sponge cake, filled with Chantilly cream and filled with fresh raspberries

After dinner, a gorgeous surprise awaited the guests in the garden: spectacular fireworks! The children were amazed…

The party continued indoors with the first dance of the bridal couple and then everybody danced until 1.30 am.
