Wedding in Sorrento on October 5th, 2006

Dear Tiziana,

Thank you very much for your kind congratulations of our wedding. We are very sorry it has taken us so long to reply to you, it has been a very busy week and we are both still trying to adjust being back at work.

Sorrento was wonderful as we both new it would be. We love the area, and look forward to an opportunity to explore more of the county.

Chris has been to Venice, Milan and Verona with university but it would be nice to visit them properly as Husband & Wife.

As for the wedding day, after the initial nightmares where it poured with rain from before dawn through to lunch time, and we thought everything was going to end horribly, we had the best day ever. The rain stopped, the clouds parted revealing blue skies and all was perfect. Giovanna made us feel very comfortable, she was well organised and put our minds at rest. It was extra special that she doubled as our interpreter, something which we weren't expecting.

Our only problem, and it's more of an observation and suggestion than anything critical, is that though the violinist was superb, he was a little too loud for our guests and the video camera to hear properly what was going on. It may have been better if he was further away or could possibly play more softly. We hadn't realised as we could hear everything perfectly and the violin made it magical, but some of our guests commented on it. I must reassure you that this didn't ruin the day for anyone.

Massimo, our photographer was brilliant. He was very kind a patient while we tried to get the pose he wanted and also in allowing us to choose various poses and shots ourselves. We have never met a photographer who will allow someone to tell him what they wanted but Massimo was brilliant. We decided we would make the trip to amalfi to visit him in his studio and we were glad we did. We have attached one of our favourite pictures as although we have spoken via email for months you have no idea what we look like.

The reception. I don't think we could have chosen a more splendid location than the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria. It is an amazing hotel, and brought a fairytale end to the day. The views form the terrace alone were splendid. The staff were pleasant and courteous, and nothing was too much trouble. Our private dining room was amazing, with simple but very stylish decor. We must thank Giovanna again, for her consultation on the table decoration.

The food was of the highest standards, and the wedding cake was out of this world. We had no idea what and Italian Wedding Cake would be like, knowing only what we would get back home in England. The cake was so elegant in it's appearance, yet so light and refreshing when eaten.

We ended the evening back on the terrace with the hotel guests dancing to the local musician. We were then astounded when the owner bought us a very nice bottle of wine to congratulate us, and then proceed to join our group and have a long conversation with my Grandmother and close friends.

Finally, none of this could have happened if it wasn't for yourself and Exclusive Italy. You made everything fall in to place without any bother, and were quick to contact us if we had been out of contact too long. In hindsight, we wished we had persuaded everyone to allow you to organise Hotels and transfers is it would have kept those aspects simpler, but everyone had their own ideas in mind, and we couldn't make them think otherwise.

You offer a wonderful service which allows for a stress free build up to the wedding. We would like to thank everyone at Exclusive Italy for making our day magical, but special thanks go out the Tiziana and Giovanna. If any said to us that they were thinking of getting married in Italy, we wouldn't hesitate in recommending your services.

We thank you again for all your help.

Deepest Thanks

Mr & Mrs Clark
