Our wedding was the most magical day of our lives.

The task of planning a wedding overseas seems daunting at first. Italy is such a beautifully romantic place; however neither David nor I have ever been to this region before. Although we have only read and heard positive things, the thought of something not turning out just as we wanted it seemed possible. We must say that our expectations were greatly exceeded.
The first thing we would like to say is thank you to Laura for remaining in such excellent contact throughout our months of planning. There were times that I (as the bride) felt as though I was asking the same question a million times! I think that nerves will do that to you. Laura was so patient and was so kind with every message she left us. She explained everything really well and kept us on track with deadlines and things we needed to be considering. We really couldn’t have done this without her. Thank you!
The services we arranged through Laura were also of excellent caliber. Italians are truly happy and warm people. From the drivers of the cars we took from Naples to Positano and around town on the wedding day, to the guitar and mandolin players at the town hall, we always received warm smiles.
Giovanna was also quite a character! She is such a warm and lovely person. Everyone we dealt with throughout our entire wedding process was beautiful. I think that we all can learn a thing or two from the way Italians live. We felt so relaxed
and taken care of the entire time away. I never thought I would feel that way on my wedding day.
We had twenty guests with us and of course we wanted everyone to have a flawless experience. They all had come such a long way for us. Positano is a very special place. Every one of our guests were glowing for 5 days.
Ristorante Max’s was also above and beyond. The food and wine were excellent, as well as the atmosphere. It’s just what we wanted. I remember telling Laura in my first email to her that we envisioned sitting elbow to elbow together at our first official family dinner as husband and wife. We wanted a relaxed and elegant atmosphere and that is exactly what Max’s is. This was an excellent suggestion. Again, we never could have known this without Exclusive Italy Weddings.
We spent about 4-5 hours at our dinner and never once were we overlooked. The staff is so warm and friendly, I felt like I was “home”. We even left some things behind and when we came in the following day they greeted us with a smile and had everything organized for us.
When I look back at my pictures I really see the true magic
in everyone’s eyes. Thank you to our photographer for capturing just that! The photographs are magic!
Positano will always have a special place in our hearts. We never thought our wedding could ever be this special. There were times when we were really nervous about how it would all “flow” and it really was everything we could have hoped for.
Thank you again to Laura and her staff for all of their attentiveness. We would highly recommend utilizing this service to create the reality of a unique and special wedding.
We are so happy we have made this commitment to each other in Italy. It was a dream come true and we wouldn’t change a thing. In retrospect it is really quite easy to plan an event like this in Italy.
With a service such as Laura’s it is all perfectly organized. All you have to do is show up and indulge the senses. A million thank yous to everyone involved. We are thrilled with the outcome!
