Intimate country wedding in Italy
The stress of planning a wedding at home was beginning to get to us so we decided to look at the options of getting married abroad.
Neither of us had ever been to Italy before but had always planned to. I did a search for getting married in Italy and one of the websites that caught up my attention was Exclusive Italy Weddings.
I contacted Laura Frappa and she replied almost immediately with various available locations. This contact remained consistent throughout the entire planning of our wedding, almost every day there was an e-mail waiting for us when we got home from work.
Nothing was too much trouble for Laura, she was more than happy to cater for our individual needs and requirements.
All of Laura's careful planning and attention to detail resulted in the most perfect wedding day imaginable.
Laura suggested the pretty town of Ravello for our ceremony to take place and we were not disappointed, we particularly enjoyed the warm reception we received from the locals in the town square. The church we got married in was pretty and intimate, ideal for a small number of guests. The amazing backdrop was perfect for our photographs.
For our reception we went to the home of Mamma Agata, we felt the reception was a very important part of our wedding day and laura excelled in suggesting this location.
As soon as you walk down the steps the view and tranquility takes your breath away. It is something that has to be seen to be believed. The food was out of this world and again tailored to meet our requirements, however the welcome we received from Chiara and her family was what made our day so special. All the guests had a fantastic time and said that they too would never forget their time spent in Ravello.
We must admit that we were slightly nervous about having someone else plan our wedding, especially someone who we had never met and in a place we had ever been to, however with Laura it felt like we did know her and we completely trusted her decisions.
We are so pleased we used the services of Exclusive Italy Weddings as the only word to describe our wedding day is perfect.
