Sorrento wedding on September 23, 2005
Summer wedding in Italy
Dear Laura (A.K.A. Yogi) :),
Thank you so much for all your help over the last few months. We came to you in July wanting a wedding for September, which for most would have been a big problem, but not for you.
You answered every email I sent (which was a lot) as soon
as you could with as much information as you could.
This was particularly good for me as I am a bit of a control freak and putting my wedding in someone else’s hands was very difficult for me.
The hair stylist Antonio did my hair perfectly, just what I wanted. He was hilarious, Laura if you have had the ‘pleasure’ of meeting him in person you will know what I am talking about :) ….
The photographer ‘Massimo’ was great, I was so worried the photographs wouldn’t be to the quality as I would get at home, but in fact they were better! Everybody has commented on how fantastic they are. The photographs, both on disk and printed were delivered to our hotel two days later, which was great as I could spend hours on my honeymoon just gazing
at them :)
Our on site wedding co-ordinator was so nice and helpful.
She said some very sweet things to us on the day and for that she will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
The music, where do I start, we had we had two guys playing mandolin and guitar as it was an outdoor civil ceremony in Positano (which I highly recommend doing) they were brilliant, they created such a jovial atmosphere, which was exactly what we wanted on such a happy day. They turned into Neapolitan trio along with Marco who seemed to co ordinate all the music, as he led the Jazz band also.
Laura you were soo right – the Jazz band were brilliant!!!
I was so surprised that Peter had them learn our song with such little notice and I have to say they played it better than the original!
At the hotel the setting was just what I had imagined and the food was to die for!
So, big thank you to yourself and your team for a job well done!
Take care Laura,
Lesley & Peter Robertson,
Dublin, Ireland.
