10th Anniversary in Venice - June 24th, 2005
After Sean and I got married 10 years ago, on 24.06.95, we both agreed that our "big" wedding was more for our families rather than an intimate bond and commitment between the two of us.
Over the last few years we had discussed renewing our vows on our 10th wedding anniversary, just us on our own, and that's exactly what we did.
Both of us had never been to Italy so we decided that there could be no other place as romantic as Venice to celebrate. Once we had decided to renew our vows I had to begin the search to find some-one who could help arrange this ceremony after all there are many websites which deal with "Weddings" but few offered what we were looking for.
This is when I discovered Exclusive Italy Weddings and Laura. I contacted Laura within 1 week of our departure and told her what I wanted to do. Laura explained that there was very little time but within 48 hours we had a beautiful garden setting in an impressive 5* Palace for the ceremony, an exclusive gondola ride through Venice, flowers, photographer, a romantic dinner and not to mention the very important detail of a hairdresser for me.
The day was absolutely perfect it was more that we could have wished for. It really did feel like we were getting married for the first time all over again. It was romantic, exciting, intimate and very special. We even enjoyed being cheered by the crowds of tourists whilst on the gondola, in particular when we approached the Rialto Bridge.
