Where?
This castle rises in the middle of the most picturesque and enchanting Tuscan countryside. Certaldo at 5 km, Florence at 35 km and Siena at 40 km.
Venue description
This castle has its origin on the 13th century and was owned by some of the most important Tuscan families. The property is extended over 150 acres and the main production is wine and olive oil. The big farmhouse beside the castle has been transformed into six apartments elegantly furnished and with all modern comforts, but keeping the atmosphere of the ancient Tuscan country houses.
Wedding ceremony
Civil and Catholic wedding can be performed in the nearby village of Certaldo. A small wedding chapel is available inside the castle for small ceremonies. Symbolic and protestant weddings in the grounds of the castle.
Wedding banquets
Wedding reception take place inside the medieval castle, which is a wonderful setting that we particularly recommend for a real Tuscan wedding reception. Weddings and reception can be celebrated in the rooms of the ground floor of the castle, in the courtyard and in the garden which is equipped with a gazebo. The Renaissance atmosphere of its internal courtyard will be an enchanting setting for your candle-light wedding reception. Welcome cocktails will be served in the beautifully preserved garden that has breathtaking views of the romantic Chianti hills adorned with lines of cypresses and golden fields potted with poppies. Under the gazebo up to 50 guests. The inner courtyard can host maximum 80 guests. In summertime weddings can be held in the panoramic garden that accommodates 100/120 guests. Rental fee varies depending on the number of guests.
Cuisine
Up to 50 guests is possible to use their catering service. If more than 50 guests we will contact the best Florentine or Senese caterers.
Music entertainment
Any kind of music is allowed. Dancing allowed.

6 elegant apartments of different size are available in the rural house adjacent to the castle can accommodate maximum 25 people. Weekly rental. Magnificent swimming pool. Several farmhouses available nearby to accommodate guests.
When?
The castle is available all year round, though we recommend a wedding from March until October.
